Studied technical writing, linguistics, rhetoric, and discourse analysis. I tutored writing at Lander for two semesters through a work-study program and was a member of the Honors College. Other achievements include winning 2 academic scholarships and studying abroad in England.
Studied how to combine research and rationale with contemporary fiction, scriptwriting for TV and film, and other creative writing genres for the modern publishing industry. Completed a 30,000-word dissertation and an independent study on fictionalized autobiography.
